Midgard (Japanese: ミッドガルド, Hepburn: Middogarudo) was a region of Europe where nations frequently arose and disappeared due to the chaos of war.

History

The concept of Midgard began to form around the year 865 AD, some nine years after the Cataclysm.[1][1.1] This was a result of the collapse of several nations, such as the Byzantine Empire and the West, Middle and East Frankish Kingdoms.[1.1]
