Baltas (Japanese: バルタス, Hepburn: Barutasu) was the humanoid guardian of Mercury's Door.

History

Baltas appeared in the world during the Cataclysm along with the rest of the Cathedral City. At some point, he was found sleeping near Mercury's Door by Lady Cerulea of the Land of Seas.^[1]^[1.1]

Baltas is Lithuanian for white. This follows the theme of all original Drag-On Dragoon Utahime Five characters being named after colours.

Some fan-made translations of Drag-On Dragoon Utahime Five have opted to translate バルタス as Bartas or Baltus.
