The chronological history of the world from the ancient past to the distant future. Please note that events are not necessarily always part of a single branch; if known, the specific branch is specified.

250	The Decian persecution of Christians takes place.
311	The Edict of Toleration by Galerius is issued, and a flag with a cross is first created.
313	The Edict of Milan is issued.
379	Theodosius the Great is born.
395	Theodosius the Great dies, resulting in the Roman Empire being split between East and West.
440	Leo the Great, Bishop of Rome, is born.
449	Anglo-Saxons invade Britannia. The Heptarchy is established.
476	The Western Roman Empire falls.
585	The Slavic migrations begin.
610	Muhammad receives his first revelation, leading to the establishment of Islam. The caliphate's territory expands.
726	The Catholic Church bans religious icons.
731	The Catholic Church banishes iconoclasts.
732	The Battle of Tours, also called the Battle of Poitiers, takes place.
747	Plague spreads throughout the Byzantine Empire.
756	The caliphate is split between East and West.
800	Normans begin ravaging parts of Europe.
843	The Treaty of Verdun divides the Frankish Kingdom into three. The Council of Constantinople convenes.
856	There are earthquakes in Corinth, Tunisia, Iran and Kyoto.

Post-Cataclysm

856	The Cataclysm happens. A huge city appears overnight on the Iberian Peninsula.	Looting and other crimes by refugees and rioters skyrocket. Sightings of strange creatures are reported. There is an increase in incidents of people being attacked.
857		A certain trading company is established.
858	The Byzantine Empire falls.	Oral tradition says that swarms of huge dragons flew in and reduced the empire's capital to ashes overnight.
862	The monarchies of the West, Middle and East Frankish Kingdoms fall one after another.	Riots begin spreading to other countries after Louis II of Middle Francia is murdered by a mob.
865	The concept of Midgard begins to form. Rumours of the Cathedral City begin to spread.	After the Cataclysm, and following the collapse of several nations, the European region becomes known as Midgard around this time. People begin calling the city that appeared after the Cataclysm the "Cathedral City." Some settle in, and a local government is established.
867	The Pythagorean Institute is established.	Nobles and intellectuals who fled to the Cathedral City from their former kingdoms found the Pythagorean Institute, a research institute dedicated to the study of disasters, calamities and the rising occurence of abnormalities across the world. Refugees from the world over begin mass migrating to the Cathedral City in search of salvation.
868	The Chaldean Gate is built. The Ten Nights of Tragedy occur.	The Cathedral City is unable to accept any more refugees due to a severe food shortage. In order to restrict the influx of refugees, the Chaldean Gate is built over the course of three nights. A battle ensues between the refugees and the City Self-Defense Forces, which lasts for a further seven nights. (Ten Nights of Tragedy)
869		One after another, people arise from the general populace who can perform "miracles", such as superhuman destruction and the ability to detect water underground.
870		The Pythagorean Institute confirms the existence of "magic."
872		People who perform "miracles" establish a strict order and social hierarchy in the Cathedral City.
875		The Pythagorean Institute create a system for the registration and authorisation of people who perform miracles. The Pythagorean Institute thus begins to dictate social status. Miracle Performers, or simply Performers, bring order and social hierarchy to the Cathedral City.
878	The Chaldean Gate opens.	The Chaldean Gate is opened for the first time in ten years, and the city expands. A Performers' district is established, and the religions of the past begin to transform. Belief in the "Performers and Miracles of the Pythagorean Institute", or simply the "Church", begins to spread.
882	The Council of Chaldea takes place.	The first council between the Catholic Church, who held power even before the Cataclysm, and the Pythagorean Institute, is held. Together they establish a new organisation known as the Church in order to bring peace to the chaotic world. The Pythagorean Institute becomes a secret organisation under the direct command of the Church, and its name eventually disappears from the historical record. The Church makes the registration system of Performers (now known as Wizards) a lot more strict in order to discourage them from rebelling. At the same time, research into "sealing magic," which controls magical power, is actively conducted.
885	A Magic Surge Accident happens.	Due to a wizard's out of control magic, a third of the city vanishes. The Church announces that this was suppressed only due to their research into sealing magic. (In truth, a sealing magic experiment failed, resulting in the wizard's body enlarging until he was only a giant foot. The foot proceeded to trample the city's slums, killing 2000 people in a single night. The official announcement by the Church is as above.)
888	The Fourth Cathedral City Expansion Plan is underway.	Progress is made on expanding the city. The Church aims to further expand its territory, advocating for "eternal peace in Midgard through prayer and magic."
890	The Church Survey Brigade is established.	The Church Survey Brigade is established in order to recruit volunteers who will help the Church take control of the surrounding self-governing territories.
892		The Church Survey Brigade, armed with large-scale magical weapons approved by their attending wizards, goes on to conquer each self-governing territory around the Cathedral City. They begin to function as the Church's armed forces.
895		The power of the Church continues to expand to more territories.
904	The Church takes control of the entire Iberian Peninsula.	It becomes common practice for members of the Church Survey Brigade to stay in conquered areas after a successful expedition. They establish self-governing regions and become known as lords.
907	The Tang dynasty in East Asia falls.
910	Magic Academies are created.	The Church actively pursues magical research. To facilitate this, Magic Academies are set up in various places.
912	Another Magic Surge Accident happens.	Another Magic Surge Accident occurred during the construction of a Magic Academy. However, the damage was contained using sealing magic and only resulted in the death of two people: the wizard whose magic caused the surge and the wizard who cast the sealing spell.
930		Magic Academies unravel the fundamentals of magic. From then on, magic begins to spread among the populace, and becomes a commonly used technology.
938		In order to further expand and stabilise its power, the Church begins to form mutually beneficial relationships with lords by means of profit sharing.
951		Bribing powerful people within the Church becomes common practice for the lords. It is also common for the them to fight amongst themselves. The lands the lords govern become known as the "Land of Mountains" and the "Land of Forests."
~954	Gray, Lord of the Land of Mountains, is born around this time.
960	The Song dynasty is founded in East Asia. Issues within the Church begin to surface.	For the first time, the Director of a Magic Academy is chosen from among the lords. This reveals the corruption within the upper echelons of the Church, as the Director in question is not familiar with magic at all. Wizards of the Magic Academies grow restless.
971	The White Revolt takes place.	Some young wizards become fiercely opposed to the continued election of lords as Directors of the Magic Academies. They surround the Central Magic Academy in the Cathedral City and demand that the current Directors resign, but they are suppressed overnight. (White Revolt)
~980	Rose, who will go on to become a singularity, is born around this time.
985	Famine breaks out.	A large-scale famine breaks out. The food supply chain from the countryside into the city was severely disrupted for several years. As a result, it became commonplace for the local government and the upper echelons of the Church to trade money, weapons, women, and children to the lords in exchange for food.
986	The Blue Order is formed.	The poor, who are dissatisfied due to the food shortages, and the wizards, dissatisfied with the corruption within the Magic Academies, form an underground revolutionary group known as the "Blue Order."
990	Shahor, son of Gray and Lord of the Land of Forests, is born around this time.	The Blue Order begins to gain traction. Many young wizards and lords who are dissatisfied with the Church support their cause. The Cathedral City's weaknesses are exposed; specifically their lack of military equipment and human resources due to years of food shortages and bribery.
991	The Blue Revolt takes place. The Cathedral City announces and begins working on a large-scale renovation of the city's waterways.	A massive revolt by the Blue Order breaks out in the Cathedral City (Blue Revolt). They occupy the Central Magic Academy with the aim of abolishing the power of the lords within the institution, and creating free and independent Magic Academies. However, the Blue Order is destroyed overnight by a large-scale sealing magic attack seen across the city. Eighty percent of the citizens living within two of the city's wards are used as catalysts for the sealing magic and die as a result. Meanwhile, the survivors go insane. Work begins to bury them alive.
993		Following the Blue Revolt, the number of wizard applicants approved by the Magic Academies decreases sharply. The local government and Church become more and more dependent on the military might of the lords. Independent magical research and original magical research funded by the lords becomes widespread. This leaves the Magic Academy and the Church in an uncertain position.
994		Finally, not a single Magic Academy Director across all the Magic Academies is a lord. Although the Magic Academies found their independence, they also lost all support from lords, leading to their somewhat ironic decline. Independent magical research is ongoing. It is uncovering all the secret arts that were forbidden by the Magic Academies, and the balance of magical power in Europe grows unstable.
995	The Cathedral City becomes a ghost town.	An accident of unprecedented magnitude occurs at the Central Magic Academy in the Cathedral City. The specifics of the accident, which allegedly involved a chanting error during the casting witch's use of a secret art, are unknown. The dust from the resultant explosion was later described as a giant flower blotting out the night sky. The impact of the accident that engulfed the city was severe, with people vanishing from the city overnight, rendering it a ghost town. However, there was no major impact on the buildings and the like.

997	6	?	The parasitic "flower" latches itself onto Rose (Zero).	The "flower" parasitizes the dead body of Rose. She begins to call herself Zero after obtaining the Power of Song.
998	1	?	Zero creates a disciple.	People start returning to the Cathedral City, but its functions are not restored.
	2	?	One, Two, Three, Four and Five are born.	Zero tries to kill herself after finding out the threat the "flower" poses to the world. Her attempt is unsuccessful, resulting in the birth of One, Two, Three, Four and Five.
	3	11	Zero meets Michael.	Zero is looking for the strongest dragon in the world in order to kill the "flower." She meets Michael along the coast of the Land of Seas.
		12		Michael and Zero fly through the Land of Sands to a tower atop a mountain in the Land of Mountains, where Michael tests Zero's strength. He plans to keep testing her further.
	5	?	Beis, lord of the Land of Sands, is killed by the Intoners. One meets Gabriella.	The five Intoner sisters fight Beis, and One strikes the killing blow. They recruit his former servant Partition and set sail for the Cathedral City. One is separated from her sisters and meets the dragon Gabriella. Women with the Power of Song become known as Intoners throughout the world.
		?	Michael agrees to help Zero.	Two months pass since Michael began testing Zero. Her final test is to defeat Michael, so they fight in the Shrine of Sands. After Zero bests him, he finally agrees to help her kill the flower.
	6	6	The Door of Mercurius is opened and the Black Mud emerges.	One is reunited with her Intoner sisters a month later. Together, they travel to the Cathedral City to open the Door of Mercurius. However, One's sisters are viciously murdered by the lords. One uses her Power of Song to unlock the door, unleashing the Black Mud behind it.
			Three lords die.	Each nation's lord dies. This is kept secret from the general public. The Black Mud mends the dead Intoners and uses them to summon daemons. Gray, the lord of the Land of Mountains, is killed by the daemon Armisael summoned by the Black Mud. His son, Shahor, the lord of the Land of Forests, is killed by Caerula. Caerula, the lord of the Land of Seas, is killed by Partition.
			The Black Mud is destroyed by Zero and Michael. Zero creates four disciples. One and Gabriella exchange hearts.	The Black Mud reveals its true form, taking on the shape of a Black Flower. It is eventually stopped by Zero, who creates disciples to contain the Intoner's power and orders Michael to burn the Flower with his breath. In order to defeat Bartas, the mad guardian of the Door of Mercurius, Gabriella uses her final wish to transform into a daemon. To save her, One exchanges her heart with Gabriella, delaying Gabriella's transformation.
	8	1	One creates her younger brother.	One creates her brother, who is essentially a clone of her, inside the Cathedral in the Cathedral City. They go on to fight and kill the soldiers occupying it together. One decides to keep her brother's existence a secret. Later that day, they travel to the Forest of Agony in the Land of Forests to defeat Shahor's remaining forces.
		14		One and Gabriella fight monsters in the desert as part of One's field training. Gabriella suggests she goes to the "Forest of Trials" in the Land of Forests to help prepare her for her fight against Zero.
		18		One heeds Gabriella's advice and heads to the Forest of Trials with her brother. Together they fight and defeat a False Zero. The forest disappears afterwards.
		21	Zero meets Accord.	[EID_M1310] Zero meets Accord, who identifies her as a singularity.
		27		Three's tasked by One to kill the Ogre troops she had made for her. Three and Octa travel to the Cathedral in the Cathedral City where they are located and kill them.
		29		Three and Octa travel to the Shrine of Sands to kill Imp soldiers that Three had made.
	11	4		One trains her brother inside the Cathedral in the Cathedral City, preparing him to kill Zero. Meanwhile, Three and Gabriella are in the Citadel in the Land of Mountains where they destroy Three's Cerberus creations.
	12	?	The final battle between One and Bartas takes place.	The Intoners who drove out the lords are seen as heroes and they start to be worshipped. One stands as their leader.
		?	Gabriella turns into the daemon Gabriel.
999	1	1	Having conquered Europe, One triumphantly returns to the Cathedral City.	The deaths of the lords are finally made public. It becomes common for people to see One and the Intoners as their leaders and objects of worship.
		27	Two and her disciple Cent arrive in the Cathedral City.
	2	14	Four and her disciple Decadus arrive in the Cathedral City.
		22	Five and her disciple Dito arrive in the Cathedral City.
	3	4	Three and her disciple Octa arrive in the Cathedral City. Zero attacks the Cathedral City and fights her Intoner sisters. Partition is killed by Zero. Michael dies and is reincarnated as Mikhail. Zero loses her left arm.	[EID_M0010] Zero and Michael attack the Cathedral City in an attempt to kill her Intoner sisters. Michael stays behind to fend off a Titan attack. [EID_M0020] Zero confronts her sisters alone. The sisters fight back. One summons Gabriel, who severely injures Zero, severing her left arm. Michael swoops in and dies after protecting Zero from Gabriel's attacks. He is reincarnated as Mikhail soon after.
			Zero hides in the Land of Seas.	Zero and Mikhail flee to the Land of Seas to hide until her wounds are healed.
	4	14		Two and Cent are on a mission in the Land of Mountains to clear out a Garrison of monsters.
		18		Two and Cent are on a mission in the Forest of Fairies to clear out monsters and stragglers still loyal to the lords.
		25	Two's mind and spirit are broken.	Two and Cent arrive in the Cathedral City, where they notice something is wrong. Because Cent used Two's Power of Song to enhance their soldiers and heal their orphans, they have turned into monsters. They are forced to kill the Homunculus, the monstrous creature the orphans turned into.
	5	5	Octa gives up on Three.	During a mission to dispatch Three's Greater Gigantes in the Land of Seas' Colossseum, Octa learns that Three has been killing and experimenting on humans in order to create them. He distances himself from her after that.
1000	3	4	Zero resumes her quest. Five is killed by her own disciple Dito, who joins Zero.	[EID_M1010] Having recovered from her wounds, Zero resumes her journey to kill her Intoner sisters with Mikhail in tow. She finds Accord's Weapon Shop. [EID_M1020] Zero makes her way along the Coast to where Five is, but finds the shrine has disappeared. Instead, a Gigas attacks her. After she defeats it, the Sunken City emerges from the water. [EID_M1030] Zero makes her way through the Sunken City. She rides Mikhail and together they sink a Battleship. [EID_M1040] Zero confronts Five. Five and her disciple summon Phanuel. Zero and Mikhail defeat Phanuel, and Zero stabs Five in the chest many times. Five revives herself, but is ultimately slain by her disciple Dito, who cuts her in half. Dito becomes Zero's disciple.
		15	Zero arrives in the Land of Mountains. DOD3 Branch Story Side Zero recruits Four's disciple, Decadus. Mikhail eats Four and evolves into his second form.	DOD3 Branches A, B, C and D [EID_M2010] Zero arrives in the Land of Mountains. While following a Cliffside Path, Zero is gravely injured by a Cerberus, but the flower regenerates her. DOD3 Branch Story Side Zero arrives in the Land of Mountains. She notices Decadus, Four's disciple, running away from the land. She recruits him. Together they confront Four, who has killed all her soldiers and servants. Four summons Zophiel on her own. After Zophiel is defeated, Mikhail eats Four and evolves into his second form.
		17		DOD3 Branches A, B, C and D [EID_M2020] Zero fights her way through a Garrison in order to reach Four. [EID_M2030] Zero and Mikhail besiege Four's Fortress, but don't find Four there.
		19	DOD3 Branch D Mikhail eats Four and evolves into his final form.	DOD3 Branches A, B and C [EID_M2040] Mikhail detects a faint Intoner presence in the Snowy Peaks of a nearby mountain, so the group head there next. Zero and Dito are caught in an avalanche, but they survive. They find information about Mt. Bernstein of the Vice Norden, where they head to next. DOD3 Branch D [EID_M2310] Zero, who already has all the disciples with her, fights her way through a Garrison in order to reach Four. [EID_M2320] Zero confronts Four. Four summons Zophiel on her own. After Zophiel is defeated, Mikhail eats Four and evolves into his final form.
		20	DOD3 Branches A, B and C Zero kills Four and recruits her disciple Decadus. Mikhail evolves into his second form.	DOD3 Branches A, B and C [EID_M2050] Zero and Dito make their way to the top of Mt. Bernstein of the Vice Norden, which they take to calling Mt. Whatever. Mikhail senses Four's presence up in the sky. [EID_M2060] Zero finds Four on an airship in the sky. Four and her disciple summon Armaros. After defeating it, Zero tricks Four into telling her where her sisters are and then kills her. Mikhail evolves into his second form.
		30	DOD3 Branches A, B and C Zero arrives in the Land of Forests. She kills the Faerie King.	DOD3 Branches A, B and C [EID_M3010] Zero flies her newly acquired airship into the Land of Forests. However, it is destroyed soon after. Next, Mikhail gets separated from the rest of the group. A faerie tells Zero Mikhail is in the Valley of Faeries. She kills the faerie after this. [EID_M3020] Zero enters the Forest of Faeries in the Valley of Faeries. After reuniting with Mikhail, Zero questions the Faerie King about Three's whereabouts, who tells her she is in the Forest Shrine. When he doesn't tell her how to get to the Forest Shrine, she grows frustrated and kills him.
		31	DOD3 Branches A, B and C Zero recruits Octa as her disciple. DOD3 Branch D Zero arrives in the Land of Forests.	DOD3 Branches A, B and C [EID_M3030] Zero finds Octa in the Forest of Light, who surrenders and joins her willingly. DOD3 Branch D [EID_M3310] Zero and the disciples arrive in the Land of Forests. After a brief interaction with Accord, they make their way through the Forest of Agony.
	4	1		DOD3 Branches A and C [EID_M3040] Led by Octa, the group make their way through the Forest of Fog. Mikhail poops. DOD3 Branch B [EID_M3210] Zero and the disciples fight an army of Armisael in the Tainted Forest. After they defeat them, they encounter Three. She tells them One is deeper in the forestm then disappears. Cent is already a part of the group, and he insists that he's never met Two.
		4	DOD3 Branches A and C Three gets eaten by Mikhail. Mikhail is kidnapped by Two's disciple Cent. DOD3 Branches D and Story Side Zero kills Five, who resurrected herself. Dito and Cent return to their original form.	DOD3 Branches A and C [EID_M3050] Zero and company arrive at the Lost Forest. Mikhail is washed away by the river there. [EID_M3060] The group finally reach the Forest Shrine. Mikhail and Zero are reunited and together they fight the Armisael, daemons summoned by Three. Mikhail eats Three after the battle and is subsequently abducted by Cent, two's disciple. DOD3 Branches D and Story Side [EID_M3320] Zero fights a resurrected Five. Dito joins Five. Five summons Galgaliel, Dito summons Phanuel and Cent summons Egregori. Zero kills Five. Dito and Cent return to their original forms.
		12	DOD3 Branches A and C Zero arrives in the Land of Sands and rescues Mikhail.	DOD3 Branches A and C [EID_M4010] Zero arrives in the Land of Sands. She makes her way through the Surface Ruins, where she finds Mikhail.
		13	DOD3 Branch C Mikhail devolves.	DOD3 Branch A [EID_M4020] Zero and her group attack Two's soldiers holed up in the Underground Ruins in hopes of finding out about Two's whereabouts. Zero's right arm gets cut off, but is regenerated by the Flower. They find documents suggesting Two is holed up at the Shrine of Sands. DOD3 Branch B [EID_M3220] Zero and the disciples make their way through the Faerie-free Forest. Zero is grievously injured by three Arch Titans, but the flower regenerates her. DOD3 Branch C [EID_M4110] Zero and the disciples wander the desert at night. Just before they enter the Underground Ruins, Mikhail devolves into his first form.
		14	DOD3 Branch D Zero arrives in the Land of Sands. DOD3 Branch D Zero kills Three. Decadus reverts to his original form.	DOD3 Branch B [EID_M2410] Cent tells Zero about a precious fruit, so her and the disciples return to the Land of Mountains. They find nothing. Zero meets with Accord. DOD3 Branch C [EID_M4120] Octa theorises that Mikhail has been cursed by an Intoner. Zero and the disciples explore the Underground Ruins. They find intel that Two is in the Cathedral City. DOD3 Branch D [EID_M4310] Zero arrives in the Land of Sands. Mikhail senses an Intoner in the sky. [EID_M4320] Zero engages Three in the sky. Three summons Ezrael. Decadus summons Armaros. Zero kills Three and Decadus reverts to his original form.
		15	DOD3 Branch A Mikhail evolves into his final form.	DOD3 Branch A [EID_M4030] Zero and the disciples make their way through the desert. [EID_M4040] Cent makes Two summon the daemons Egregori, who Zero and Mikhail defeat. Mikhail evolves into his final form. DOD3 Branch C [EID_M4130] Zero and the disciples make their way to the Cathedral City. Accord watches from afar and is intrigued by the many anomalies of the branch.
		16		DOD3 Branch B [EID_M3230] While making their way through the Poisoned Forest, Zero and the group realise all the faeries are gone. The forest is now full of powerful monsters. DOD3 Branch C [EID_M4510] Zero and Mikhail destroy magic towers in the desert. Zero shares some of her memories of Michael with him.
		19	DOD3 Branch B Three dies in front of Zero and the disciples.	DOD3 Branch B [EID_M3240] Zero and the disciples find Three Statues in the Forest Ruins. The path forward is unlocked after they destroy them. They find Three just before she dies.
		20		DOD3 Branch A [EID_M1410] Zero returns to her cottage in the Land of Seas, where she meets Accord.
		22	DOD3 Branch A Zero returns the disciples to their original forms. Mikhail uses his final wish to empower Zero. Zero kills Gabriel and One. She is killed by One's Brother. DOD3 Branch B Two has gone mad and killed One. Cent and Two kill the disciples and Mikhail. Zero invents the pact system to save Mikhail. DOD3 Branch C Zero arrives in the Cathedral City. Two explodes, killing herself and all the disciples. Mikhail and Gabriel kill each other. Zero kills One and loses her mind. Accord seals off the branch. DOD3 Branch D Zero arrives in the Cathedral City. Mikhail kills Gabriel. Octa summons Armisael and returns to his original form. Zero kills one with Accord's help. Mikhail destroys the flower. DOD3 Branch Story Side Zero kills One. Zero invents the pact system to save Mikhail. Zero is killed by One's Brother. Finally, Zero kills both Gabriel and One. Afterwards, she is killed by One's Brother. DOD3 Branch B [EID_M3250] Zero and the disciples find that Two has gone mad and killed One. Cent betrays the group and joins Two. Together they kill all the other disciples, then summon Raphael before dying themselves. Mikhail defeats Raphael but dies from his injuries. Zero makes a pact with Mikhail, bringing him back to life. DOD3 Branch C [EID_M5110] Zero arrives in the Cathedral City. She fights Two. Two explodes, killing herself and all the disciples. [EID_M5120] Zero and Mikhail enter the Cathedral, which is decorated with skulls. They confront One, who summons Abdiel and Gabriel. Mikhail and Gabriel kill each other while Zero kills One. Upon seeing the dead Mikhail, Zero goes insane and begins throwing up. Accord seals off the branch. DOD3 Branch D [EID_M5310] Zero arrives in the Cathedral City. Mikhail kills Gabriel. Octa summons Armisael and returns to his original form. Zero kills One with Accord's help. [EID_M5320] Zero releases the flower inside of her. Mikhail destroys the flower. All the Intoners are dead. DOD3 Branch Story Side Zero kills One, but Mikhail dies from his battle injuries. Zero makes a pact with Mikhail, bringing him back to life. Afterwards, she is killed by One's Brother.

1001		The Church of Angels is established.	The world's magical balance breaks due to the Intoners going haywire. Droves of monsters begin appearing, and the world becomes unstable. The Church of Angels is established to unite soldiers who no longer believe in the Intoners, and to once again bring peace to the world. The three-eyed gemini becomes the Church's symbol. One is appointed as the leader of the Church.
1003		Plague spreads.	The world is inhabited by more brutal monsters than ever before. The Church of Angels works to oppose them.
1004		There is a famine in Europe. Refugees flee to East Asia.	Experts within the Church of Angels establish the Institute of Priests. They compile research from the former Magic Academy, and conclude that the world will collapse if countermeasures are not put in place.
		The weather across Midgard is abnormal.	Civil wars break out in various places.
1006		A small kingdom is founded in the east of the Land of Sands.	Multiple autonomous territories are formed by the locals along the coast.
1007		A kingdom is founded by the coast of the Land of Mountains.	Nations rise, disappear and reorganise themselves one after another. The Church of Angels' attempts at governance over the world are fruitless. Several pirate nations arise.

2021				A certain manufacturer releases a high-spec personal computer. This model of PC, designed to receive perpetual updates via the network, is soon adopted across the globe. Synchronization with past server is successful. As the original network was small and designed for personal use, expansion will be required. – Accord
2025				These PCs, now spread the world over, begin to link up and share data as part of a neural-networking experiment conducted by the manufacturer without the knowledge of its users.
2032				Large-scale data breaches and acts of cyberterrorism are carried out over the network, during which time information regarding Replicant technology is leaked. The experiment is soon halted, and the computers stop receiving updates.
3021				A thousand years after the experiment, consciousness data from these computers is detected on the network. The collection and merging of this data is performed by the quantum server located in the Forest of Myth.
4198				Humanity's extinction is confirmed. All records relating to humans are moved to maximum-priority folders, and backups are sent to regional quantum servers for safekeeping.
5012				An attack by aliens from outer space is recorded. Numerous buildings and androids are destroyed, and some quantum servers are catastrophically damaged.
5155				Machine lifeforms created by these unidentified alien visitors launch an ark into space, resulting in a new divergence. An attempt is then made to sync up with servers from the past.
